BRAZILIAN CAMOUFLAGE TATTOO:
STRETCH MARKS / DARK CIRCLES / SCARS / VITILIGO / MELASMA/AREOLA

Brazilian Camouflage Tattooing was invented by Rodolpho Torres, a Brazilian tattoo artist. The owner and artist Kauana Rocha, from The Brow & Some, learned this technique directly from him.
The technique consists in tattooing the skin with a customized pigment that matches the client's skin-tone or area treated.
The purpose of the camouflage is to disguise scars, stretch marks, dark circles, vitiligo, melasma and areola scars.
Similar to other permanent makeup treatments, the pigment is applied into the skin using a cosmetic tool, which sits just below the layer of your skin to enhance the color of your under eye area.
This is a tattoo which means exposure to daily life including sunlight and other conditions are perfectly fine after the procedure is healed.

Numbing cream is applied to the area before the service, so there's no pain involved.

The number of sessions depend on each concern and skin, the results are accumulative. However, the results are permanent, once you are done with the sessions, that is it.

A period of 4 weeks minimum is needed between sessions.

Some redness, swelling, itching and scabbing may happen during the healing process.

For the best results, the scars and stretch marks need to be at least one year old.

Each treatment session takes about 1 hour, given that the size of tattoo is overall small.

For the camouflage procedure to be successful, it is crucial that your skin isn’t tanned at the time of the treatment. This is because the skin-shade pigments need to be blended to match your natural skin color, not the fake tan color of your skin. If you are tanned when you get your procedure done, you’ll end up with a mismatch and your treated scar will look darker than the surrounding skin.
Just like for any other tattoo, it is important to keep sun exposure to a minimum once your scar has been camouflaged.

FIRST 72 HOURS - Make only compresses using a gel ice cold pack cooled in the refrigerator (do not freeze it) - Between 6 to 9 compresses a day of 10 minutes each. It can also be done with cold Saline and paper towel. The compresses are super important to avoid hypercromia (darkening of the skin).
AFTER 72 HOURS - Stop the cold compresses and start applying the dermal restoration
ointment for one week.
GENERAL OBSERVATIONS
Do not expose yourself to the sunlight during the darkening period of the camouflaged region until it is lightened again. After this period, sun exposure is allowed.

Start to wear sunscreen after the 10th day.

It is not advisable to submit the tattooed region to any aesthetic procedure that may "hurt" the region which is still under dermal restoration process (such as modeling massages, drainage, etc ...).

It is not advisable to do any procedure that involves LASER on the camouflaged region, once it will result in the INDIRECT REMOVAL OF THE APPLIED INK (in case you go through any procedure which involves laser, AVOID LASER CONTACT WITH THE CAMOUFLAGED AREA.
